Torquay Palm Trees

Torquay is on the South Coast of the UK, known as the English Riviera (although I have yet to see any signs of this) my favourite thing in the whole town are the gold palm trees on a Deco facade above a amusement arcade.

    I used to hate stuff like this but after seeing a lot of the newer casinos that are popping up in the United States I’ve gotten very used to this overblown, overwrought style of architectural detailing and now completely love it.

    Is the bottom of the building anything special or did all the detail stay on top?
