This is a metal thermos with pink plastic lid that originally accompanied a vinyl lunchbox (manufactured by Aladdin Industries in 1962). The graphics feature “Gigi” the French poodle in playful poses with various Paris landmarks in the background.

Beautiful! Poodles always look so happy when they’re in Paris.
In general, I never really liked vinyl lunchboxes. They didn’t feel like they have the soul of the metal ones. But I have a feeling I would have loved the matching Gigi. Especially as it was probably pink.

Record Ron had the largest collection of metal lunchboxes i’ve ever seen in his store in New Orleans. He’s since passed and who knows where those went. His store was pretty much a lunchbox museum, there were hundreds and all not for sale, don’t ask. He did offer some of his personal vinyl at one time, of which i got one record. All were in mint condition and slightly pricey even for twenty something years ago.
