Cartoon Canine Cowboy

Standing 10″ tall, this hound is made of plastic, and has a slot in his back to deposit coins if you are so inclined. Christmas present from my Dad (age 91) this year. As you can see, his head swivels, and I’m anxious for the day when I find it has turned on it’s own. His snout looks a little like a baseball filled with oil that has burst at the seams from the front.

Absolutely LOVE that this was a gift from your 91-year-old dad THIS YEAR! Parents are always so good at thinking their kids remain young with the same needs they had when they were 8.

I agree about the baseball inspired snout.

This very much has the look of the 1970s hard plastic greeting cards made by companies such Berry, The American Greeting Card Company and Paula like https://www.alleewillis.com/awmok/kitschenette/2009/11/25/worlds-best-teacher-you-learned-me-good-1972-berries-statue/ and https://www.alleewillis.com/awmok/kitschenette/2009/11/21/i-guess-you-know-i-love-you/ .
