Toni Carroll Sings Hits of the 20’s! LP

Can’t argue with that! Sure, the cover is slightly more Ethel Mermen meets Nancy Sinatra than it is Clara Bow, but who cares!

I hear you re this cover being “more Ethel Mermen meets Nancy Sinatra than Clara Bow”. That bamboo and wood ball curtain is stone cold late 60’s head shop and her bouffant hair is very early 60’s American Bandstand. I guess the flapper dress is cutting it though. My only hope is that these are go-go arrangements of 1920’s songs. Probably not that lucky though…

you know, i’m not sure i’ve even played this…or well, if i have, i don’t remember (which is always possible with me!) but yeah, i’m guessing that flapper songs done go-go style is a little too optimistic…but one can hope….!

I love that the model is really camping it up! I’m sure there was a person behind the camera making the same faces back at her. This is a good one!
