I could write a mini novel on what this doll meant to me! I carried this thing everywhere and my parents were like “well, if that’s what you want”. I have yet to re-buy this part of my youth!

I loved me some Flip Wilson. He’s the original RuPaul. Geraldine Jones ruled The Flip Wilson Show that ran from 1970-’74. This doll is so fantastic because it’s male on one side and female on the other. I have two have them but you scored big because you also have the box.
Flip gets major kudos for having one of the first Black TV shows that crossed over to a white audience as well as for knocking out phrases that continue to be part of the pop culture lexicon like “What you see is what you get,” and “The devil made me do it!”.
