Here’s another piggy-planter from my collection. This one’s kinda fancy, since it has gold details. It is only marked with a “59” in grease pencil on the bottom, I guess that was probably the price.
As much as I’d love to believe that the grease penciled 59 was the year this was made I agree that it was the price. A very cheap price at that for this little pig planter that’s in such incredible condition. I love when ceramics like this have that bright gold glaze. This is a very well deserving and elegant pig.
