I found this owl at my grandmother’s obm house many years ago. I think you are supposed to put a candle in it. As usual my kids are like, ” mom , that is so ugly” but I think it is totally kitsch and way cool.

Mom is right as usual! It’s beautiful and it’s kitsch and it features the State Bird Of Kitsch, the owl.
I have several of these and it is, indeed, a candle holder. It looks great with the light flickering through and with any luck the eyes in this one are transparent so they glow as well.
The copper tone is very fancy!
