These knives are from Germany. I especially like the peacock/flamingo image that has been attached to the bottom. I think it gives it the kitsch factor. They might be bakelite or some kind of bone……… not sure!

Beautiful knives. I don’t think they’re Bakolite. My vote is bone. This kind of cutlery was very popular in the 1950’s and would have been part of a very fancy dinner set.
