Indian Statue (made in the 50’s)

My Father made this when he was a teen. I kid him as I don’t know exactly what he did with this piece. It’s white and glazed.

Your father MADE this? It looks pretty professional. Did he make it from a mold? If he sculpted it himself I’m REALLY impressed. One way or another I love that he kept his craft projects.

I don’t know specifics, except that Dad told me he made it. I think he may have just painted it white and then glazed it. Not too sure. I had another Indian statue that was in color and Ernie broke it. Ernie is notorious (at least on Face Book) for breaking things. I can’t tell you the kitsch that he has busted. One time I came home with two prints, walked out of the room and heard them crash to the floor. Another time I came home with two fab ceramic pieces and he was dusting, CRASH again…..So I do not allow him to dust anymore, EVER. It drives me nuts!
