Now I must say that I say have seen elderly people on swings before. Hopefully these three leave the ground at some point!

I seem to remember mention of swings somewhere on one of your posts recently, Denny, and maybe Nessa made a comment to which you are responding by posting this for her. Please do tell the significance of old folks swinging on a piece of wood with rope that might not be able to support them as per how it applies to Nessa.

Ooooh, sometimes I get kitschcited (excited) and I don’t fully explain. Nessa likes odd vintage photos, anything that is quirky and I thought she would get a kick out of this one. I thought this was quirky enough to post. Sorry for the confusion.

Back in ’37, everyone sure seemed to look “old” when they were still “young”. Those printed “Bubbie” dresses, clunky black heel shoes and gray hair and only 50 years old. Guys wore white shirts and ties, and this was on a casual picnic in the park. We’ve come a long way.

I never really collected the old pics but I seem to come across more and more that are just too “many things” (which translates to “hysterical”) and one can really end up with a ton of these if i get on the “adopt a relative” kick! I wonder if they ever swung on those swang thangs!
