This is another West German pin. I’ve long had a fascination with ancient Egypt (driving me to a degree in archaeology), so to find it in combination with my love of West German pins, this couldn’t have been more perfect!

As soon as I see something like this I think Earth, Wind & Fire. I know Nefertiti has implications far beyond this masterful soul group but seeing as I would’ve had a very different life without EWF and every single record of mine with them had Nefertiti or a pyramid in the artwork she always reminds me of home.
What’s the circumference of the pin? And is her face painted or enameled?

The pin is 1 3/4″ across and the bust appears to be molded reddish plastic with gold and black highlights painted on.
