Here’s a Bambi planter, actually made under license from Disney. There are quite a few of these, but this is the only one I have. I’ve seen at least 3 other Bambi-themed planters, though. It’s delicate and very high quality, with exceptional detailing and many different colors that are pleasantly applied. I like how Thumper is running there at Bambi’s feet.
The back is highly detailed and decorated as well, which is kind of unusual. The more amount of “air” a ceramic thing has in its design, the more likely something’s going to get broken! This was one of the first planters I bought from some guy set up in a supermarket parking lot.

Adorable. I’m not one to collect Disney anything but I would have picked this up not knowing that that’s what it was and bought it anyway.
I always love when ceramic animals have eyelashes. These look hand-painted on which is even better.
I’m confused though when you say that you especially like Thumper running at Bambi’s feet. Am I blind? Where is Thumper?

Thumper is kind of hard to spot. See the two black lines down in the lower left-hand corner on the first picture? Those are Thumper’s whiskers. Directly above that, two pink blobs are his ears. Black dot for the eye and you can make out his blue-gray body there, if you look closely. =)

Wow, that’s something only the mother of this object would know. I think they skimped a little on Thumper’s fur tone paint but I do see him now.
