My Parents’ Fridge

When I was a kid, whenever we went on vacation, my parents would bring back a magnet as a souvenir. Then, when I started road tripping on my own, I would bring them back a magnet as a present. The result is this…. they joke that if they put one more magnet on here, the door will fall off… and yes, it’s continuing on to my fridge as well :P

It’s like a nice little memory of all the fun places they’ve been, and all the cool places I’ve been…. some of the magnets are pretty kitschy on their own, like the one for Millennium Park in Chicago which misspells “millennium”

Places far away and places nearby…

Pretty large collection of Broadway shows/tours magnets..(not all shown) there isn’t one for The Color Purple, Allee, but as soon as it comes nearby I’ll be sure to catch it!

How much do I love that this is your parents refrigerator door?! Well, they trained you well as I always love everything in your collection that you post.

    Where do your parents live?

We do have to do something though about getting a Color Purple magnet up on that frig! I haven’t even seen the newest production yet, the second national tour, but I’m finally going to when it comes to a bunch of places in Southern California starting at the end of this month. Here’s a link to a page that has the performances through 2010 but the tour goes on long after that: http://www.ticketliquidator.com/tix/the-color-purple-tickets.aspx

Love the misspelled Millennium Park magnet!
