I can’t believe that’s Tupperware and I’ve never seen it! That design is so great not to mention practical. The 50’s was THE incredible time for style and convenience.

Have you ever seen the film, “Mon Oncle”? if not, proceed immediately to Netflix and watched it now! It’s one of the greatest art directed films ever and definitely Jacques Tati’s best. It won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 1958. There’s plots involving people but it’s basically about a modern house. The house is outrageous and the kitchen’s the cherry on the sundae.

Do you know what the big silver cone thing is with the long red thing coming out of it on to the left of the Tupperware?

Consider “Mon Oncle” on order and soon to be seen. I love watching the room decors of 50’s movies and then actually seeing them at house sales decades later. As a guess, I’m thinking that red and chrome kitchen item might be a cake decorating applicator, but that sure is a lot of frosting. Any idea?
