This is one of my favorite things I’ve ever owned. It still works perfectly but the metal is so old I dont feel safe sipping the contents. So it’s been reduced to holding cat food. But that way I do get to use it every day. I wish the pellets were small enough to come out of the spout though.

To me, this is the quintessential Atomic 50’s coffeemaker.

I love the image of me squatting to get the shot. Nice reflection!

It’s one of the most amazing pieces at Willis Wonderland!

Thanks Denny, I love this, have never seen it???…
Can just imagine this fab coffee maker displayed on a great buffett.

This must be very high up and out of the way if the cats don’t break into it on a regular basis. And is that Billy Dee Williams selling Colt 45 Malt Liquor in some kind of light up display? More on dat one please….

It sits high up on a table surrounded by, you guessed it, other pieces of kitsch.

Billy-Dee does light up. I always loved Billy Dee!

Thanks for the info! Great stuff, Billy Dee is the man. I do seem to recall those cheesy commercials he did on the tv. Never swayed me to drink Colt 45 though. I did stop into our local K&B drugstore one Saturday afternoon probably back in the late 80s. On one of the liquor shelves was what was called a “party pack” consisting of a bottle of Night Train wine along with 2 plastic cups and a very small can of grapefruit juice for mixing, all enclosed in a plastic bag. Yeah, i should have bought it for the kitsch factor alone….It would probably be still sitting on the kitchen shelf. And Santa, send me one of those Billy Dee Williams Colt 45 signs, make sure it lights up too….

I wish you had bought one of those Party Packs too! I didn’t know Night Train wine but it sounds like it would be the perfect drink of choice here at AWMOK.

When I lived in Center City Philly I would get off the bus, head to the deli and grab my 40 ounce of Colt 45 and that is no lie. Cheap and never left a hangover. You go Billy Dee!
