    Dennis Day, Jack Benny’s sideman, has the perfect family to be listening to Santa. When I first saw this I wondered why Santa was playing the violin. Now that I see look close up and see that it’s Jack Benny I love that a Jew is going as Santa. Although Jack Benny was known for his stinginess so I’m imagining that all that’s in Santa’s bag is balled up newspapers to make it look like it’s stuffed with as many gifts as the Days bought for themselves.

    How sweet is this…the cover looks like a TV Christmas Special!!! Looking at the beautiful Dennis Day, Irish-Catholic Family… Wikipedia said they had 10 kids…smile.
