SPAGHETTI HO’S… Submitted by k2dtw December 18th, 2010 SPAGHETTI HO HO HO’S… This little Kitschy Spaghetti Santa is a Bank, he is 7″ tall and vintage Japan. He is Kitschy, Colorful, and Cheerful in Red and White with Gold Trim, holding a sprig of bright green holly … Santa Clause is coming to town…
All his white stuff looks like merinque.
So cute as a bank. Do kids actually get coins as Christmas presents? That’s a Chanukah thing but I wonder if Santa ever actually gets any action as a bank?
I love that he’s holding mistletoe so he can kiss himself. A
I don’t remember “coins”… When I was very little it seems like I remember Santa cards that had spaces that you would fill with dimes??..
It was a thrill when I would get a card from a favorite aunt who would send $5.00…that was last year…smile..
I had an aunt who sent me two dollars for every single birthday until she passed away about 10 years ago. That was always my favorite present.
Allee Willis! Your last bit of commentary about the mistletoe is killing me!
Santa’s just trying to get the party going on with the mistletoe…hmm, maybe i should try that too. We used to get silver dollars in our Christmas stockings, i kept mine, my sisters spent theirs. I have a nice pile of them now.
