I was inspired to paint this by my love of the old street gangs from NY like the “dead rabbits” and “the 5 points gang”………

   Really love this one. They look like pencil erasers out on the town.

   Is Slim Jim the one with the pursed lips?

   Do they sing?

   Yes, that is indeed Slim Jim on the left but I’m not quite sure why he is so wide-eyed. Then again, I am just as curious about the look on Pokey Joe’s face.
