I love this ceramic sculpture.

Another fabulous vase.

I love the finish on this vase and have several pieces of ceramics with the same textured finish.

Stunning.

All of the ceramics in this post are all fabulously displayed in the living room at “Willis Wonderland”.

I found the pink sculpture for 25¢. It was a beige color and very chipped so I sanded it down and spray painted it pink.

The second vase is 1950’s Italian. I think I paid two dollars.

When I first found the pink and blue vase in the second photo I wasn’t so crazy about it because I wanted it to be more asymmetrical. But for 45¢ it was well worth it! And I grew to love it.

The speckled white vase with the holes in it was 50¢.

I got the pitcher in the last photo in London when I was there writing “What Have I Done To Deserve This?” with Pet Shop Boys. I thought it was overpriced at $25 but got it because I didn’t find anything else at the swap meet.

I don’t think I paid more than 50¢ for either of the other two vases.

Some people enjoying bragging about how they paid the big bucks for this item or that item but I’m with you, I adore bragging about how little I paid. Most of my clothes are thrift store, great stuff. I went to my daughter-in-laws wedding in a lovely dress. The day after, I bragged to anyone who would listen that it cost me $15! :-)

I’m the same way, Lisa. Any new visitor to my home gets the tour where I tell them how little I paid for everything and which garage sale or flea market or thrift shop the items came from. I know this is probably totally crass behavior, but it’s in my DNA.
