I picked up this vintage Dachshund letter opener at a local thrift shop here on Cape Cod. I love his stubby red feet and his curly-q tail. When you pick him up his whole body will wiggle if you move him around.
Love his big ear!
A perfect Dachshund body. I’ve always loved this breed although I have never owned one.

I can’t even tell you how many of these I’ve owned throughout the years. Only I was never lucky enough to fine one with red shoes like this one has on.
It’s a letter HOLDER not opener though.

Oh geez. Your right, I get so excited about posting and awmok gets my panties in twist. For me, there is no escaping the typing errors brought on by fabulous kitsch. I just need to slow down my pace….HOLDER indeed!
