I am currently listening to this album. 60’s soul is one of my favorite genres of music and I never tire of the sound! So much more energy in 60’s soul. “Come By Here” is a pretty amazing song. A song familiar to many people is the track “Mockingbird” which has been interpreted many times by other artists…..

Inez and Charlie Fox were the pre-Ike & Tina Turner. Mockingbird was an early R&B crossover-to-Pop track and musicians still cop its style today.

oh yeah, that’s a pre cbs strat with sunburst finish, rosewood fret board and the neck was tiny too(thinner and flatter)…perfect for smaller hands and playing fast…a beautiful, gorgeous guitar with a fine,fine sound….
i can’t even stand to look at this cover…this to me, is the ideal aesthetic…I want to look like both of them (but not at the same time) and i know i want to sound like them!
