

Found this at the Liberty Thrift Shop in Collegeville, PA. This was probably made when souvenirs were actually worth purchasing. “Pencil Parking”? I won’t use it for pencils but will definitely use it to store paint brushes.

Insanely jealous of this one! Such a waste of space to store 4 pencils though. And I love that it’s decorated in 22K gold – for what?… a bunch of pencils?!
Do you actually store liquid in the jug part? Mmmm, lead poisoning.

Great post!!!… WOW..Wildwood is/was famous for it’s 1950’s Motels..Signs..Architecture!!!.. Wonder how much is still there?

I would either love this place or go wayyyyyyyyy the other way. Could be cutesy restored/repro 50’s which would drive me nuts. But if kept in vintage state I’d be in heaven.

Wellll… from what I hear…. You might be walking thru the Pearly Googie Gates of Architecture….smile.. I hear it’s good, but not what it was from it’s 50’s glory days?? ..Lots of 50’s/60’s beach restaurants and vintage motels w/great signs…
