Just another gorgeous cluster of acrylic grapes.  I was lucky on this last trip to LA to have found 2 giant clusters of acrylic grapes at the Melrose & Fairfax flea market.  I have never seen pink grapes before.  These must be a rarity.

    I love acrylic grapes. When I was a kid my grandmother made dozens of these acrylic grape arrangements for family and friends. How I wish I still had one of her arrangements, but as a kid I didn’t appreciate them. My grandmother also made dozens of crochet toilet paper covers (hats and poodles and doll dresses), and I wish I had one of those too. Looking back, I now realize that my grandmother loved kitsch and maybe my own love of kitsch comes from her.
