I am back on the Cape and still flipping out over this chalk print. Apparently Allee took this down in 2007 (for reasons that I am unsure of) and never re-hung it. Over the years Allee thought she lost it. I re-found this amazing piece of art when I was photographing things around the office. I happened to be going through Bubbles artwork and found this tucked neatly away between some of her paintings. I love this picture so much that I can’t wait to hit the jealous button several times!

I took this down out of my hallway to hang something special for a party and totally forgot about it until you pulled it out. I’ve thought about it over the years and was afraid I lost it. So thank you!
This is the second portrait I’ve found in a thrift shop by Raymond Grimm, who I think was a known artist in the 30’s-50’s. I found it unframed and looked around forever for the right frame.

Love, love, love this and can’t begin to say how jealous I am that I don’t own him.
I’m glad I “re-found” him for you. When I brought it down off the shelf, your expression was priceless.

There’s something sleazy/smarmy about this guy. He looks like he’s lured plenty of starlets onto the casting couch.

I love that word “smarmy”.
