This vintage late 60’s “Go-Go Dancer Cocktail Shaker” was found in a thrift store in the midwest while on tour with Combustible Edison back in 1994. I added it to the show by setting it up on my keyboard rack and having her “mix drinks” (by pressing the white button, which would make her hips shimmy). While I have seen a few different faces on these things over the years, this one is clearly modeled on the Playboy mag cartoon strip “Little Annie Fannie”. I wonder if Harvey Kurtzman, Will Elder or Hef himself ever saw one of these!

Thank God I own one of these or I would be in a coma right now looking at this. However, my gal was long tuckered out before I found her in a thrift shop on San Fernando Rd. and she hasn’t shaked or shimmied since. I’m very jealous that not only is your gal working, but mixing you drinks onstage. That’s definitely something I could use on October 18.

I love the entire room!

Yes, I have to say that I was so taken with the go-go dancer I missed a few spectacular things about that room. 1st of all, I’ve never seen that pattern on a wood slat floor before. And so highly polished! I should only be as kind to my wood floors. Also, that huge rattan chair is pretty spectacular. And don’t get me started on the curtain pattern. Brother Cleve, you know I want to see everything in your collection here!

I am so jealous over this that I could spit! OMG. I love her little pinched nose! Her gold lame’ outfit is to die for. I have been looking for one of these for so long but I never seem to come across them.
I also wanted to say WELCOME TO AWMOK! I just know you have tons more to post and am dying to see more of your collection! Hitting the jealous button after I submit this!

I will post pix of the whole living room shortly, and then we’ll get into the individual items from there. Yes, the curtains are amazing AND atomic….my wife made them from repro vintage fabric about 15 years ago ! Watch this space!!
