I’ve always been a fan of Patti’s but that didn’t start til the late 80’s for me.  This album is actually from 1979 and features the tracks: “Come What May” & “You And Me” which were both written by Allee.

Oh boy, this was the heyday! And, Patti, of course, was the first singer to regularly do my songs. This was the second LP I had stuff on.

I still think “Come What May” is one of the best songs I’ve ever written.

Glad you posted this. I was listening earlier to the collections I made and another song came on that you wrote (sung by Patti) “Time Will Tell”. It’s a gorgeous song too!

As for “Come What May”, it’s one of my favorite songs that you wrote. I’ve come across so many that have become favorites but it’s clear Patti has been with you since the beginning. Her voice on “Little Girls” is killer too.

Thank you for writing so many incredible songs.
