Annette – Annette Funicello??? Really, are you serious?? THE female Mouseketeer from The Mickey Mouse Club’s golden years? And Frankie Avalon’s costar in all those beach movies? Yes you do.

“O Dio Mio” was a huge ballad for her in a string of hit records she had in the very late 50s/early 60s. I lovedddd this song as a kid.

The Buckinghams were a huge group in the late 60s, very specifically in 1967 when they had a whole rash of records, the biggest being “Kind of a Drag”. “Don’t You Care” was also huge and is pretty good tho not my fave.

As for the Cher record, I have absolutely no idea what song that is. I have a feeling it’s on the flip side of one of my favorite Cher records of all time, “You Better Sit Down, Kids”.

THAT Annette! In all fairness, I thought so! lol

I am too young to remember anything regarding her recording career. What I know, I’ve only found out as an adult. Internet ya know! :)

I know the Buckinghams! That song kills me! Such a hot song.
