I had these and believe me, they don’t see that far, I was lucky if I could see the neighbors house with these.

   I ordered at least 10 of these when I was a kid and they can’t see more than 18 inches let alone 18 miles. I never understood how they got away with advertising like this. But it still never stopped me from buying them, always hoping for those 18 miles.
