    Needless to say, this was the soundtrack to my life. And I also love that they stuffed 16 cuts on this as opposed to the usual 10 or 12.

    I love everything on here but the two I was most obsessed with were “Come On and See Me” by Tammi Terrell and “I’ll Be Doggone” by Marvin Gaye.

    There’s no other way to put it than what you said: it was the soundtrack to our lives…literally. I cut my teeth on this stuff. My oldest sisters traded what they had for what their friends had, back and forth. Between them, I heard it all and loved every minute.
