Chair spotted in a hotel in the Beverly/La Cienega area — made completely of welded Kennedy Half Dollars and wire.

    I’m partial to things like this as I used this schlep home so much furniture from thrift shops and flea markets and if they were beyond repair I would start to glue coins all over them. I still do that if I have to pour cement anywhere around my house. When in doubt stick coins in it so you end up with something smart, kitschy and flat as opposed to plain and drab.

    My only reservation about this chair is that it’s got to weigh a ton.
