Same issues, different faces…

It was 1970, and our group boarded a bus from NYC to Washington D.C. to protest the war, racisism and oppression. Almost 40 years later the same issues exist, just different faces. All I have left of that day are these two buttons, a contact sheet from a roll of B&W pictures, and fading memories.

    How great that you still have these buttons from one of the most mindblowing times ever. To say nothing’s changed is an understatement… Who would have ever imagined that all it could get was worse?…

    Though it’s not fun kitsch, would you like to see a few photos from this day in history? I’ll have to dig them out. The protest signs, the faces, the crowds are still in my minds’ eye.
