A staple of American highways, the truck stop has long been underappreciated for its fostering of the arts. At last, I’ve found a record celebrating this. Includes a description of this “modern oasis”:
Well, I for one have never underappreciated truckstops as per their fostering of the arts. I always found them incredibly intriguing places, the coffee shop and gift shop (verrry fancy truck stop if these two are separated) being some of my favorite places on earth.
I absolutely love the description of the truck driver on the back of the LP. I must disagree with Les Kennon though as I think the very last thing any truck driver would want to do on his short stay at home would be to want to listen to this album. I, however, would kill for it.
