    The fact that a postcard was sent out to celebrate the fact that rather than her hair flipping up at the bottom it curled under and her bangs had grown long enough to sweep them to the sides is good enough to earn a CertifiKitsch in my book. I also love that they gave away the big hook of Ann and Don getting engaged before the show even aired. I’m especially happy that Marlo’s eye makeup did not change from 1969 to 1970.

    Her 1970 hair is the way she wore it in real life – 1968 and 1969 were wigs – just like Mary Tyler Moore – tjhe first season of her show that wasnt her hair – that was wigs –

    Big lashes – that was the style – and for a un-eomployed actress Ann Marie had the best clothes ever – never wore the same outfit twice – when the show went off the air she and Donald were not married – Ann Marie was cancelled as a virgin – but Mary Richards in 1970 – now she was different – she was the kind of girl who did have sex – she probably took her birth control pill with a glass of milk

    Funny how the hair changed in one years time. I remember running around LA in my Marlo Thomas t shirt. I thought I was the s***. We love Marlo and we love this post!
