I know so little about cars, I could be way off-base, but I think the bulk of these metal devil characters is made from some sort of car part. Their curled tails create a tripod of limbs, enabling the 2′ figures to stand on their own. Each comes with a metal pitchfork (that you can also rest horizontally across their extended arms if you want.)

If you look closely, you can see that both are anatomically correct (the female’s genitalia is a metal keyhole). I found these at a vintage store on Abbot-Kinney in Venice, CA (that’s no longer there) and paid a lot more than your average garage sale price.

Doesn’t look like car parts to me but I’m so not an expert there. I love these little devils whatever their composition. Their noses kill me. Love the choices of where the artist went red.
