We all know prisoners make license plates, but that’s so yesterday. I like to think this license plate purse could’ve been made by a prisoner in touch with his feminine side– a creative con who’s into haute couture. Actually, the purse was made by a company called Littlearth that recycles real used license plates into women’s handbags. The purse measures 6″ x 6″ x 3″ and has a hinged lid, a plush black lining and a snap fastener adorned with a real bottle cap (this one is for “artificially flavored punch soda.”) I found this at a garage sale and unfortunately it’s missing its shoulder strap.
