Here’s yet another one, hope you don’t get tired of them!
Some of these have a weird hair thing going on… the body, etc. is all nice and shiny and smooth, but the hair has weird matte texture and color.. I thought it was just one of them that somebody had messed with repainting the hair, but I think it is original now as I have seen the weird chunky/sloppy/matte hair on several of these planters.

I’m not one for matte finish in ceramics but I must say I love the bowl cut of the top of the hair and then how the sides look like ear muffs. But it doesnt look matte in the photos.
I also like the sleeves looking like a big muff.

I think I have seen a couple of kneeling men as well.
Hmm, it’s not so much “matte” as .. .definitely a different kind of paint than the rest of the object… just kind of a rough texture to it rather than the smooth shineyness of the rest of the piece, just a little weird and a little more matte for sure.
