More pics of the RCA Victor Color Remote

I’m submitting these snaps as a followup to my post from a few days ago, featuring the RCA Victor Color Remote. Note the handsome gold plastic panel surrounding the “eye.”

While I much prefer the look of the clear lucite buttons on the black n’ white RCA remote I’d first submitted to the site, this heavy lil’ number is still awfully fun to toy with.

Really fancy remote. Way more buttons than the usual fare of the day. Do the buttons make that excellent click sound when they go down and does it feel like you’re pushing down on an air elevator that finally locks into place?

Excellent compendium to this at https://www.alleewillis.com/awmok/kitschenette/2010/07/20/knock-knock-hue-is-it-its-my-new-rca-color-remote/

    And this lovely one: https://www.alleewillis.com/awmok/kitschenette/2010/06/12/classic-rca-victor-remote/

Sadly, Allee, there’s no rewarding “click,” just the fluid, springy resistance of the plastic pushing back at you.

Now the purportedly pristine pair of Zenith Space Command remotes that are on their way, those are some good ol’ clickity clickers. Will post ’em as soon as they’re outta the box.
