    Sometimes these ashtrays made in Japan in the 50s and 60 are slightly too daintily painted for me but this one is really superb.

    Bowling pins are really brilliantly shaped. It makes so much sense that the fat part of the pin could serve as an ashtray. Had it been me designing it though I might have also put a concave area in the top part of the pin so it could hold fresh cigarettes.
