I don’t think its ugly at all! I’m SO happy its been dropped into the A box. Totally looks like a real artichoke. Which makes me think I should steam some up, gut them and stick some votive candles in, maybe on a bed a Dijon colored mayonnaise.

I remember this now! I think I purchased this from the Joan of Arc thrift shop. It looked so real to me.
