I always pick up parts of things I already have when I see them as things do break. Plus this looks like it would make a great coffee mug in and of itself.
So odd that the skirt doesn’t fit the other top as the font is the same so you think it was the same manufacturer. The skirt is a little different though so I guess it makes sense that one might be pudgier than the other. Are there any manufacturer marks on them anywhere?
They were made by Enesco. There’s a lot of other stuff in the series, cookie jars, napkin holders, salt & pepper, but those are all pretty sentimental and serious and cheesy, seems like the Instant Coffee one is the only one that has sort of a jokey inscription.
Right now the empty skirt is just for catching things that are floating around the kitchen like a key or loose change.. I’ll probably move it somewhere else though.
I have something else made by Enesco though I’m blanking on what it is right now. I got so excited because it was so cheesy and then got appalled when I looked up the brand and saw how not-in-a-good-way kitschy all the stuff was. But if you pick through it there are some real winners.

Are you using the empty skirt for anything?
