Love the perfect match of red shirt and backgound. And perfect font for the word “Yulesville” and for the times to get away with no background and totally convey a swingin Christmas.

Didn’t he a saying that he quoted as he was using his comb? Like “Kookie, where’s your comb” or something like that…..?
Connie Stevens sang the female part in “kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb”. My cousin and I would play that record all the time and have our boy and girl puppets sing it. We loved the “snaps” because we could have our glove puppets snap. Loved the lyrics, especially “I’ve got smog in my noggin’, ever since you made the scene”, but as little kids, we didn’t know the word ‘smog’ back then so we sang ‘snog’, which in a way, i like better. At the end, she says “Kookie, you’re the ginchiest!” It’s on iTunes.
Great post… How Cool…I didn’t know this was out there???…
I LOVED Kookie too… Had his pictures probably from the old “Photoplay” magazines???…all over my bedroom wall. I loved the old 77 Sunset Strip TV Show…
