Here are some fun ones…

This brown hat is made of felt and I love it…The veil is pretty worn, but the hat remains in good condition…this was made in France in the early 50s and I love it..I have worn it quite a bit…..

This is another favorite..I LOVE the color and the flowers, not to mention that the veil is brown, which I think looks fabulous with the yellow…..This was gift and I have worn the heck out of it!

This is a conservative little felt hat from the 30s…I haven’t worn it much as it’s too plain and kinda looks like a baby bonnet…But, it deserves to be posted cause it’s a little bit of hat history :)

    Yay felt!!

Love the first hat. It looks like the feather is made out of felt too? Superb.

The second hat is crazy! A veritable floral explosion! I agree that the brown veil is really fantastic. This is a gorgeous hat.

The third baby bonnet hat is really beautiful. Looks very missionary, Pilgrimy. Is it a kids hat?

Do you keep all your hats in hat boxes?

    GORGEOUS.

I swear, if my head was small enough I would def be wanting to wear teh second hat featured here. Your motivating me but my hats are pretty boring compared to what I am seeing in your posts!

Darlin’, with you’re creativity and skills, your boring hats could be made VERY unboring, I’m sure! ;)

I know..felt’s my favorite too! IN fact I spent all day sunday slightly doped up and submitting my hats only to find that I never included my favorite one, which is felt! There will have to be 11 posts!

yeah, the first one is all felt…LOVE the cut “feather” design…the yellow one is a favorite..I love bright colors and flowers made of felt! The last one could be a kid’s hat, but it also might just fit small…sometimes it’s hard to tell with some of the older ones (and I’m not the best gauge since I have fairly large noggin)

All of my hats (save a few in plastic tubs in the garage) are kept in hat boxes! I’ve been able to find sturdy ones over the years at discount places and I love them!!!!! I think hats belong in hat boxes…watched too many old films as a kid and I just think it’s girly and glamorous to have hat boxes! :)

    Just Fabulous…beautiful details..
Are the flowers on the yellow felt hat tied on w/small felt strips?? Is that a knot in the felt strip, do they add a matching yellow bead??…It’s so cool the way it looks like a little Stamen…
Your hat boxes are wonderful… girly and glam!!..
