Lava lamps are the one thing that have survived reinterpretation of an original 60s object. I usually hate repros of any kind but lava lamps have always slipped in under the wire. I think they’re beautiful no matter when they were made. I never get tired of watching that oil blob!
I do agree with you there. This is the repro of the Century and the style is what pulled me in. Its the ones from today with the glitter and such that I would just as well leave on the shelf! I have found two original Carlisles that were practically blemish free. Needless to say they didn’t last in the store too long!
