Nestle’s Restaurant China Cups

This is a set of four vintage Nestlé’s cocoa cups, perfect for a cup of hot cocoa topped with marshmallows.  The cups are made of heavy duty china, tan with a maroon logo.  Although all the cups are exactly the same, two were produced by Sterling China and two were produced by Shenango Inca Ware. I believe they were manufactured in the late 1950’s for restaurants. I also believe they originally came with saucers.

I love these cups. I have one of them. Not sure which manufacturer though and I’m to lazy to get up to go check as I’d have to poke behind hundreds of cups.

I think they were made for restaurants too. I love vintage coffee cups like this because they weigh a ton and really make you feel like you’re drinking something substantial.

They probably did come with a saucer but that was probably all white so you’re not missing much.

Agree with Allee here, that´s exactly what I like on cups like this too. From the picture and their shape I first thought they were smaller espresso cups. Love that red on the creamy white background, those cups are lovely.
