They all look like they have flying saucers on their heads.  Amazing hair-do’s!

I don’t remember stewardesses wearing any type of glove on their hands.

Little mixture here.  It’s obviously shot that was used for advertising as they are sitting in a slice of the airplane.

Fantastic bubble hair.

Seeing as I’m on a plane on my way back from Texas right now this post seemed very appropriate. The stewardesses on my American flight don’t look anywhere near as good. Though one has on a strand of pearls.

The top photos look like The Flying Nuns.

Love the dishwasher gloves in #2.

The posed photo, #3, is so nutty. The blue outfitted ones look like nurses’ aides.

Denny I think these are great!

I know a lady that retired two years ago after over 40 years with United as a flight attendant. I have no idea how she did it! But when she comes to the house we always make her wear a seat belt when we serve her.

Yes the dishwasher gloves really made me laugh but it’s the look son all their faces in pic #1 that had me falling over with laughter!

Doug – I think your onto to something. “Stepford Wives” in the sky? Oh yes!

Mark – can you ask your friend if she would be willing to let you see any pictures from back then? DO you give your friend peanuts?

Denny she’s a character, our son’s mother-in-law, I really don’t know what she’ll say, but when the time is right, we’ll get something. I think she’s had it with peanuts!
