I made this 6″ x 7-1/2″ sign out of hand cut ceramic tiles to hang on the wall outside of my bathroom. The calligraphy is for “Benjo”, the Japanese word for toilet. I had a Japanese friend print the letters,  I cut the tiles and then fitted them together as shown

Back in the early ’60 I used a lot of hand cut tiles. I made a simples design of bottles that was about 2’x4′ to put in dining room and layed a tile entrance to my home that was about 4’x10′. My wifw also made tie dyed tee shorts. We went to the Human Be In in San Francisco in January 1967. I took 8 mm home movies and put them on a DVD. I sent one to Allee.
