My grandpa had a big garden.  His neighbor used to make signs for people as a side-job.  He probably made this little plastic sign for my grandpa’s garden.  This was the only one I found while cleaning out the garden shed.  I love it!

So simple and yet I love it. Such a great name. And always excellnt immortalized in plastic. White lettering on red the best.

I’m assuming pep was short for peppers. Love that the craftsmen didn’t spring for all the letters.

Yes! I’m not sure what he used to make these signs, but he made us all a ton of them.. name plates for desks, parking signs for churches, etc., he was really good at it. An abbreviation such as “Hot Pep” definitely represents the personality of the person who made it.
