As I said, I love ponds. And this is a really sweet one. I love everything placed around on the rocks. And I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a big evergreen tree or what ever that huge Christmas tree looking fauna is sitting that close to a pond. It’s a really great setting.

Is that the Eiffel tower there made out of reeds? And is “heaven” printed on the fence itself or is that a freestanding piece? And what’s the round red and white plastic thing on the rocks?

These must be very happy fish.

The tree is a Colorado Blue Spruce, transplanted to our little Kansas back yard by the previous owners/builders. Best guess is that it is 24-30′ high. It is splendid and looks gorgeous in the winter covered with snow.

The Eiffel tower is made of metal, and covered in white Christmas lights for a soft glow at night.

Heaven is just painted on a free standing old white picket.

LOL…….. the round red and white thing is a bowling ball, painted to look like a fishermen’s bobber!

wow, this does look like heaven…i would love to have a pond with fish, but the cats and raccoons would love it more :(

Racoons can swim, but only if they can touch the bottom. They don’t like to put their heads under water. And cats can swim…….but prefer not to. So if your pond is 3 – 4′ deep, the fish can take shelter down deep from those pesty pests!!
