Found this amazing vintage oven mitt recently at a flea market, featuring a housewife smiling insanely while apparently having a psychotic episode in the kitchen. Or perhaps she’s on drugs (yes, those dilated pupils are “googly eyes”). Hope the sauce that kitten’s about to eat doesn’t make it think it can fly.

I know you well enough to know you would have searched for a tag inside already. Would have loved to know who made it and when.

It was made by Parvin Manufacturing company which still makes oven mitts. But I couldn’t find any trace of this mitt or others like it anywhere on the Internet.
