In 1947, I went to see a movie “Romance of Rosy Ridge” with Janet Leigh and Van Johnson. Of course, I fell in love with Janet and have probably seen every one of her pictures. I was 17 at the time. I wasn’t aware that she had written books and I got this book at a library book sale. At another book sale, I got her book “The Dream Factory”. I was surprised to find the first book was autographed. When I go to library sales, and garage/estate sales, I always look for autographs and have several.

So great that being a movie fan for so long you found this. I love finding old star’s autobiographies in thrift shop, some of which every now and then just happen to have been autographed. I got Sophie Tucker’s that way.
